FAQ

What is the best Cleric build in AION 2 right now?
Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Prayer of Amplification and Noble Aura as stigmas, with Condemnation and Divine Aura pushed toward skill level 20. MrRosaPony’s “Skill Set Cleric PVE”, the most-liked Cleric skill build on questlog.gg (58 likes), and whelps’ “Cleric DPS” both use exactly that bar, and so do 54% of public Cleric builds with four stigmas.
Should a Cleric run a full support build?
Only if your party keeps dying. Every Cleric creator we checked plays the damage setup with groups that know the fights. Th3Ruthless’ “PvE - Full Support” build, with Benevolence, Absolution, Light of Protection and Yustiel’s Power, is for groups that do not. Only 11% of public four-stigma Cleric builds run three or more support stigmas.
What is the best Cleric build for PvP?
Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Salvation and Voice of Doom. That is MrRosaPony’s PvP build and the most common bar among the 75 public Cleric builds named for PvP. Salvation keeps you alive, and Voice of Doom cuts the enemy’s healing by 60%. Th3Ruthless’ 5v5 arena build is more defensive, with Absolution and Yustiel’s Power in place of Earth Punishment and Voice of Doom.
What does Salvation do for a Cleric?
It makes you immune to damage and status effects for 3 seconds. From level 5 it also adds 100% Incoming Heal, and from level 10 it restores 20% of Max HP when it ends. MrRosaPony calls it the button to press when a PvP fight goes wrong: use it at low HP, heal back to full and attack again. 61 of the 72 public builds that slot it are named for PvP.
What is a good Cleric build for a fresh level 45?
marx0310’s “EARLY PVE Heal Dps + Macro” build (5 likes, updated 2026-10-11). It already slots the four damage stigmas, with Earth Punishment and Prayer of Amplification at 10 and the other two at 5, and puts Condemnation, Judgment Thunder, Divine Aura, Healing Light and Radiant Recovery at 16. aLuckyRO’s early skill targets on the Cleric PvE page are a lower first step.
Why do so many Cleric builds show no stigmas?
319 of the 900 public Cleric skill builds we could pull from questlog.gg have no stigma on the skill bar. Many builds only record skill levels, and some list every stigma they have levelled without equipping any. That is why this page, like the Cleric hub page, counts only stigmas placed on the bar.

What is the best Cleric build in AION 2?

The best Cleric build is the damage setup most Clerics already run: Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Prayer of Amplification and Noble Aura as stigmas, with Condemnation as your main damage skill and heals kept on their own keys. The real choices are how much damage to trade for healing, and what to swap for PvP:

Part Best pick Why
Stigmas Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Prayer of Amplification, Noble Aura 54% of the 501 public builds with four stigmas on the bar run exactly these four
First stigma to 20 Earth Punishment whelps’ first pick; at 20, it and Earth’s Blessing last 20 seconds
Main damage Condemnation and Divine Aura at 20, Judgment Thunder at 16 whelps’ “Cleric DPS” build
With a Chanter Drop Light of Protection It does not stack with the Chanter’s Undefeated Mantra
A party that keeps dying Absolution, Summon Resurrection or Benevolence Th3Ruthless’ random-group and full support builds
Long-term target Every active skill except Lightning Strike Scattershot at 20 MrRosaPony’s “Skill Set Cleric PVE”, the most-liked Cleric skill build (58 likes)
PvP Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Salvation, Voice of Doom MrRosaPony’s PvP build and the most common PvP bar

This page compares the builds behind that answer. For skill specializations, the macro and which stigmas fit your party, use the Cleric PvE build.

How do the top-rated Cleric builds compare?

The most-liked public Cleric builds on questlog.gg (Global) come from MrRosaPony, whelps, Th3Ruthless and marx0310. Likes were checked on 2026-10-11. MrRosaPony’s PvE build has more likes than the next five builds combined.

Build (author) Likes Stigmas on the bar Skill levels Built for
“Skill Set Cleric PVE” (MrRosaPony) 58 Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Prayer of Amplification, Noble Aura, all 20 Every active except Lightning Strike Scattershot at 20 The long-term PvE goal
“Cleric DPS” (whelps) 13 The same four, all 20 Condemnation, Bolt and Divine Aura 20; Judgment Thunder 16; the rest 12 PvE damage
“PvE - Full Support” (Th3Ruthless) 8 Benevolence, Absolution, Light of Protection, Yustiel’s Power, all 20 Every active at 10 A party that keeps dying
“Skill Set Cleric PVP” (MrRosaPony) 7 Salvation, Voice of Doom, Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, all 20 Same as his PvE build PvP
“PvE - Dps Support” (Th3Ruthless) 6 Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Prayer of Amplification, Noble Aura, all 20 Every active at 10 PvE damage
“EARLY PVE Heal Dps + Macro” (marx0310) 5 Earth Punishment 10, Prayer of Amplification 10, Light of Protection 5, Noble Aura 5 Condemnation, Judgment Thunder, Divine Aura, Healing Light and Radiant Recovery 16 A fresh level 45 character

Th3Ruthless’ builds leave every active skill at 10 and differ only in their stigmas; his skill advice is in his videos. The wider numbers match the top builds. Of the 501 public Cleric skill builds with exactly four stigmas on the bar, 270 (54%) run the four damage stigmas and nothing else. The next most common bar is the PvP set with Salvation and Voice of Doom (38 builds), and the third is Th3Ruthless’ full support set (17 builds).

When is a full support Cleric build worth it?

When your party keeps dying, not by default. The Cleric creators we checked all play the damage setup in groups that know the fights, as the Cleric hub explains. The full support build is for the groups that do not.

Players lean the same way. Of the 501 four-stigma builds, 327 (65%) run no support stigma at all, 119 (24%) swap in one or two, and 55 (11%) run three or more. These are the four support stigmas, from the client data:

Stigma Base effect What higher levels add Share of 581 builds
Absolution Heals you and the party within 40m and removes up to 2 debuffs −30s cooldown at 5; removes all debuffs at 10; a heal over time at 20 24%
Summon Resurrection Revives a fallen party member within 40m −1s cast time at 5; 3s of invincibility after the revive at 10, 5s at 20; restores 20% of Max HP at 15 23%
Benevolence Heals the party every 2s for 20s +10s at 5; Stamina every 5s at 10; 2% HP every 5s at 15; a cleanse every 5s at 20 22%
Yustiel’s Power +20% PvE Damage Tolerance for the party for 10s A shield worth 10% of Max HP at 5; +100 Block and Evasion at 10; another +10% PvE Damage Tolerance at 20 14%

Going halfway. Many builds that add support swap out just one damage stigma. The most common single swaps in the public builds are Absolution for Light of Protection, Summon Resurrection for Prayer of Amplification, and Benevolence for Light of Protection. The creators each have a rule for when:

  • Th3Ruthless: in a group without a Chanter that needs more healing than the damage setup gives, take Absolution instead of Prayer of Amplification. In random groups, add Summon Resurrection if the party is prone to deaths or asks for it.
  • whelps: if you want Summon Resurrection or Yustiel’s Power, drop Noble Aura for it. With a Chanter in the party, drop Light of Protection for it instead.
  • Lucia skips Summon Resurrection with random players. They often use a resurrection stone while she is casting, which leaves the stigma on its 2-minute cooldown for nothing.

Going all the way. Th3Ruthless’ “PvE - Full Support” build keeps only Light of Protection from the damage setup and adds Benevolence, Absolution and Yustiel’s Power. It also levels Summon Resurrection to 20 without slotting it. zeminah’s build of the same name adds one rule: switch out Light of Protection when a Chanter is in the party, because the buffs overlap. The Cleric PvE page has a stigma table for each kind of party.

What is the best Cleric build for PvP?

Earth Punishment, Light of Protection, Salvation and Voice of Doom. Of the 75 public Cleric builds named for PvP that slot stigmas, 61 slot Salvation, 61 Earth Punishment, 59 Light of Protection and 46 Voice of Doom. All 38 builds that run exactly those four are PvP builds, and MrRosaPony’s “Skill Set Cleric PVP” (7 likes) is one of them.

The two PvP stigmas do jobs nothing in the PvE setup covers:

Salvation Voice of Doom
Base effect Immune to damage and status effects for 3s Earth damage to up to 4 enemies plus damage over time; enemy Incoming Heal and HP Potion Recovery −60% for 20s
Level 5 +100% Incoming Heal Up to +20% damage when it hits more targets
Level 10 Restores 20% of Max HP when it ends Removes Protective Shields on hit
Level 15 Also protects the party member with the lowest HP −200 Critical Hit Resist on the target
Level 20 Triggers on its own when you are hit by an Impact-type status Damage over time ticks twice as often

MrRosaPony’s build notes explain how he plays it:

  • Keep Light of Protection on. It stays toggled in PvP, just as in PvE.
  • A smaller macro. Only Chain of Torment and Judgment Thunder go in it for damage, plus your heals for sustain. The debuffs are pressed by hand.
  • Time your debuffs against the enemy’s cleanse. Use the weaker debuffs to bait the cleanse out. Once it is on cooldown, land Earth Punishment, so Condemnation always crits, and Voice of Doom, so the target cannot heal through your damage.
  • Defiance is for the moment you can swing a fight and get crowd-controlled. Track the enemy’s crowd-control cooldowns so a follow-up does not catch you.
  • Salvation is your emergency button. At level 5, its +100% Incoming Heal lets you heal back to full: use it at low HP, recover, then go back on the attack.

His summary: when a PvP Cleric dies, nine times out of ten it is because they did not manage their cooldowns and the enemy’s crowd control.

Two other creators take a different line. Th3Ruthless’ “PvP- 5vs5 - Arena” build is more defensive: Salvation, Absolution, Light of Protection and Yustiel’s Power, without Earth Punishment or Voice of Doom. marx0310’s “PVP Heal Dps + Macro” runs Root, Earth Punishment, Prayer of Amplification and Yustiel’s Power.

Which Cleric build fits your situation?

Pick the build that matches where you are:

  • Leveling to 45: the stigma slots unlock at character levels 22, 27, 32 and 37, according to aLuckyRO. Lucia’s goal is every skill at 12 by the time you finish the regional quests at 45.
  • Just reached 45: start from aLuckyRO’s early skill targets on the Cleric PvE page, then move to marx0310’s “EARLY PVE Heal Dps + Macro”. It slots the four damage stigmas at 5–10 and puts the main skills at 16.
  • A party that knows the fights: whelps’ “Cleric DPS”. His notes list a specialization for every skill and the order to level passives.
  • The long-term goal: MrRosaPony’s “Skill Set Cleric PVE”, with every active skill except Lightning Strike Scattershot at 20.
  • With a Chanter: Th3Ruthless’ “My PVE BUILD With Chanter ADVANCED”, which takes Absolution instead of Light of Protection.
  • Random groups: Th3Ruthless’ “My PVE Random Groups”, with a flex slot for Light of Protection, Benevolence or Summon Resurrection.
  • A party that keeps dying: Th3Ruthless’ “PvE - Full Support”.
  • PvP: MrRosaPony’s “Skill Set Cleric PVP”, or Th3Ruthless’ arena build for a more defensive setup.

What gear and Daevanion go with the best build?

The build needs Condemnation at 20, so gear matters as much as skill points. Skill points stop at 10, and up to four more levels come from the Cleric Daevanion boards. The rest come from skill lines on rings and Arcana: Condemnation is the one line every top Cleric build has on both rings, as the Cleric gear guide shows. To compare the Cleric with the other healer and the rest of the classes, see the AION 2 classes overview.
