FAQ
How many Daevanion boards does the Sorcerer have?
Five. Nezekan unlocks at character level 12, Zikel at 20, Vaizel at 30, Triniel at 40 and Azphel at 45. The first four raise your skills and general stats; Azphel holds PvP and status-effect nodes only.
How many points does it take to fill the Sorcerer boards?
570 points for the four PvE boards: 134 each for Nezekan, Zikel and Vaizel, and 168 for Triniel. Azphel needs another 232, but the planner data charges it in a separate point type, so it never takes points from the PvE boards.
Which board has the Sorcerer’s best passives?
They are split. Nezekan holds two nodes each for Fire Mark, Robe of Flame, Robe of Earth, Cold Snap and Absorb Essence. Zikel holds two each for Grace of Enhancement, Vitality Evaporation, Robe of Cold, Revitalization Contract and Grace of Resistance. aLuckyRO’s two favourites, Robe of Flame and Grace of Enhancement, sit on different boards.
What should a Sorcerer put on the board first?
The skill nodes for Hellfire, Wish of Concentration, Blaze, Bittercold Wind and Winter’s Shackles. shr1kn’s 268-point leveling board gives all five +4, plus +3 on Firestorm and Flame Arrow, and +4 on Fire Mark, Robe of Flame and Vitality Evaporation. EUTOPIA adds the Combat Speed and Cooldown Reduction corners on Nezekan.
Should a Sorcerer take the Critical Damage and Multi-Hit nodes?
Not early, says aLuckyRO: Sorcerers rarely crit at the start of the season, and the skills that matter already land as guaranteed Multi-Hits. shr1kn’s leveling board takes both Critical Damage Boost nodes but no Multi-Hit Chance, and his early game board takes every corner on all four PvE boards.
What do Daevanion nodes cost, and can you reset them?
Common stat nodes cost 1 point, passive skill nodes 2, active skill nodes 3 and the large stat nodes 4. A node only becomes available once it connects back to the start of its board. Every node in the planner data lists a reset cost of 500, and aLuckyRO reminds you that a reset fixes any mistake.
What is the best Sorcerer Daevanion build for PvE?
Spend your points on the skill nodes for Hellfire, Firestorm, Wish of Concentration, Blaze and Bittercold Wind on every PvE board, add Fire Mark and Robe of Flame, and pick up the 4-point damage corners as your paths reach them. Leave Azphel for PvP.
shr1kn, the author of the most-liked public Sorcerer build on questlog.gg, published a 268-point leveling board that does exactly that:
Fire Mark, Robe of Flame, Robe of Earth, Vitality Evaporation
2 × Critical Damage Boost
Triniel

Hellfire, Wish of Concentration, Blaze, Bittercold Wind, Winter’s Shackles
Fire Mark, Robe of Flame, Robe of Earth, Robe of Cold, Vitality Evaporation

The result is +4 levels on Hellfire, Wish of Concentration, Blaze, Bittercold Wind and Winter’s Shackles, +3 on Firestorm and Flame Arrow, and +4 on Fire Mark, Robe of Flame and Vitality Evaporation. The corners add +3% Damage Boost, +3% Damage Tolerance and +3% Critical Damage Boost; this board takes neither Combat Speed nor Multi-Hit Chance. To see how those levels feed the rotation, read the Sorcerer PvE build.
Here is that board drawn out. Every path starts at the centre node, and the highlighted nodes are the ones shr1kn takes. On a computer, hover over a node to see what it gives.

How are the Sorcerer’s Daevanion boards laid out?
Each PvE board has one node for every active skill, and the passives are split between the first two boards. Nezekan and Zikel each hold two nodes for five of the ten passives; Vaizel and Triniel add one node to all of them. For the Sorcerer, that split lands like this:
Board
Unlocks at
Nodes
Points to fill
Passive nodes
4-point stat nodes (+1.5% each)
Nezekan
Level 12
89
134
+2 Fire Mark, Robe of Flame, Robe of Earth, Cold Snap, Absorb Essence
2 × Combat Speed, 2 × Cooldown Reduction
Zikel
Level 20
89
134
+2 Grace of Enhancement, Vitality Evaporation, Robe of Cold, Revitalization Contract, Grace of Resistance
Nezekan holds most of the passives the creators rank first: Fire Mark, which Blaze depends on, and Robe of Flame, which Element Enhancement multiplies by 1.5 at stigma level 10. Grace of Enhancement, the +20% PvE Damage Boost passive, has its double nodes on Zikel. shr1kn’s boards give it only one node each, so if you rank it as highly as aLuckyRO does, Zikel is where to add it.
The filler nodes are the same on every PvE board: +3 Attack, +5 Critical Hit, +5 Critical Hit Resist, +30 Defense, +100 Max HP or +50 Max MP for 1 point each. Passive skill nodes cost 2, active skill nodes 3 and the large stat nodes 4. You can only take a node once it connects back to the start of its board, and every node lists a reset cost of 500 in the planner data.
Which Daevanion nodes should a Sorcerer take first?
The core skills, routed through the damage corners. The creators agree on the skills and differ on which corners are worth it early:
EUTOPIA: on Nezekan, both Combat Speed and both Cooldown Reduction corners, plus the core skills: Hellfire, Firestorm, Wish of Concentration, Blaze and Bittercold Wind. On Zikel, Damage Boost first. He skips Flame Scattershot and warns against filling one board completely before planning the next, because points are limited.
aLuckyRO: open the central lanes first, starting with Combat Speed, then take the skill and passive nodes closest to them, such as Ice Chain, Firestorm, Flame Arrow and Robe of Flame. On Zikel, take Damage Boost. He skips Critical Damage Boost on Vaizel and Multi-Hit Chance on Triniel early, because Sorcerers rarely crit at the start of the season and the skills that matter already land as guaranteed Multi-Hits.
FrozenCloud: go for the orange 4-point tiles, on a route that passes as many of your useful skills as possible.
shr1kn’s leveling board follows a third route: it skips Nezekan’s corners entirely and buys the Damage Boost, Damage Tolerance and Critical Damage Boost corners instead. His early game board, below, takes all eighteen.
What does shr1kn’s 401-point early game board look like?
It is his plan for 1,200 to 1,800 gear score, with 401 points on the PvE boards and 35 more on Azphel:
Eight passives once each, including Grace of Enhancement
3 × Multi-Hit Chance, 3 × Multi-Hit Resist
The core seven are Hellfire, Firestorm, Wish of Concentration, Blaze, Bittercold Wind, Winter’s Shackles and Flame Arrow, and all of them reach +4, as does Defiance. Seven passives reach +4, including Fire Mark, Robe of Flame, Robe of Earth and Vitality Evaporation. Every 4-point corner on the four PvE boards is taken, the defensive ones too.

How far can the boards take a Sorcerer skill?
To level 14. Skill points stop at 10, and each of the four PvE boards has exactly one node per active skill, so a full set adds +4. aLuckyRO calls +14 the most the boards can give any skill. The rest comes from skill lines on rings and Arcana cards: berdugz reached Wish of Concentration 16 at 1,500 item level through Wish lines on two rings. Level 16 is the target for Hellfire, Wish of Concentration and Blaze, whose level 16 options all cut cooldowns, and for Firestorm, which gains +15% damage per fireball; the Sorcerer PvE build lists them.

Does Azphel matter for a PvE Sorcerer?
No. Azphel has no skill nodes and no PvE damage nodes: its corners are PvP Damage Boost and PvP Damage Tolerance, and its other nodes are PvP stats, Status Effect Chance and Resist, and a few Max HP and Max MP nodes. In the planner data it is also paid for with a separate point type, so it never takes points from the four PvE boards. shr1kn’s leveling board leaves it empty, and his early game board puts 35 of those separate points into it.
