What is the best Sorcerer PvE build right now?
The PvE Sorcerer on Global is a fire burst caster: it stacks buffs and debuffs, lands a fully charged Hellfire, and spends the rest of its kit bringing Hellfire back sooner. The table is the whole build at a glance; each section below explains one part.
| Part | What to do |
|---|---|
| Skills first | Hellfire, Firestorm, Wish of Concentration, Blaze and Bittercold Wind, then Winter’s Shackles and Flame Arrow |
| Stigmas | Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion, Fire Wall and Cold Storm |
| Stigma levels | Element Enhancement first, to 10 and then 15 |
| Opener | Element Enhancement and Delayed Explosion, then a fully charged Hellfire |
| Macro | Everything except Hellfire; cast Hellfire by hand |
| Passives | Robe of Flame, Grace of Enhancement and Fire Mark first |

Which skills should a PvE Sorcerer level first?
Hellfire, and the skills that bring it back. shr1kn’s two public PvE builds show the progression, from leveling to about 1,800 gear score:
| Skill | Job in the build | Level 16 specialization | shr1kn, leveling | shr1kn, early game |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hellfire | Main damage; charged by hand | −15s cooldown | 14 | 16 |
| Firestorm | Each fireball cuts Hellfire’s cooldown | +15% damage per fireball, up to +75% | 13 | 16 |
| Wish of Concentration | Attack buff; cuts all cooldowns at 16 | −10s on all skill cooldowns | 14 | 16 |
| Blaze | Hit on Fire Mark targets; restores MP | −3s Wish of Concentration cooldown on hit | 14 | 16 |
| Bittercold Wind | Area Water damage and Root | −1s Frost cooldown on hit | 14 | 16 |
| Winter’s Shackles | +20% PvE Damage Boost buff | −15s Winter’s Shackles cooldown | 14 | 16 |
| Flame Arrow | Basic attack; restores MP | Resets Blaze from its Pyroclasm hit | 13 | 16 |
| Frost, Frost Burst | Freeze and its follow-up | +1s Frost; 50% chance to reset Frost Burst | 12 / 12 | 12 / 12 |
| Flame Scattershot, Ice Chain | Stagger windows; slows | — | 2 / 1 | 2 / 1 |
shr1kn’s leveling build, the most-liked Sorcerer skill build on questlog.gg (59 likes, updated 2026-10-06), covers 0–1,200 gear score; the early game build covers 1,200–1,800. The other creators order the top differently:
- EUTOPIA: Hellfire, Firestorm, Bittercold Wind, Blaze, Wish of Concentration, then Flame Arrow.
- berdugz: Wish of Concentration to 16 first. At 1,500 item level he had it there through Wish lines on two rings, and his next targets are Blaze, Flame Arrow and Hellfire.
- aLuckyRO: for the first push to 12, Flame Arrow, Ice Chain, Firestorm and Wish of Concentration, with Hellfire at 12 once you have the points. He leaves Bittercold Wind and Winter’s Shackles at 8, where their main options already unlock.
Skill points take a skill to 10, and the Daevanion boards add four more. The last levels come from skill lines on rings and Arcana cards, which is how berdugz reached 16.
Which specializations should you pick?
Active skills unlock specialization options at levels 8, 12 and 16, and you choose which ones to equip. The creators agree on most of them:
- Firestorm: −2s Hellfire cooldown per fireball (12) for everyone, plus +20% Skill Speed (EUTOPIA, shr1kn, FrozenCloud) or −50% MP cost (aLuckyRO). At 16, shr1kn takes +15% damage per fireball instead of the Skill Speed.
- Hellfire: +30% Skill Speed, plus either ignoring Block and Evasion as a Multi-Hit (EUTOPIA, FrozenCloud), casting while moving (shr1kn’s leveling build) or a fire damage over time (aLuckyRO). shr1kn adds −15s cooldown at 16.
- Wish of Concentration: +10% Attack (8) and +10% Combat Speed (12). At 16, shr1kn swaps the Combat Speed for −10s on all skill cooldowns, and berdugz runs that option too.
- Blaze: delayed damage after 3 seconds and Multi-Hit (EUTOPIA, shr1kn, FrozenCloud). aLuckyRO takes HP absorb instead of the delay when soloing. At 16, shr1kn swaps the delay for −3s Wish of Concentration cooldown on hit.
- Flame Arrow: +50% Multi-Hit (8) and +5% Fire Damage Boost (12); aLuckyRO prefers +20% MP restored at 8. At 16, shr1kn swaps the Multi-Hit for the Blaze reset.
- Winter’s Shackles: +20% PvE Damage Boost for 5s (8), plus the Winter’s Illusion chain (EUTOPIA) or −15s cooldown at 16 (shr1kn).
- Bittercold Wind: +1s duration for everyone. For the second slot, EUTOPIA and FrozenCloud take the level 12 option, which ignores Block and Evasion and always lands as a critical hit; aLuckyRO treats it as a PvP option and shr1kn takes casting while moving.
- Frost and Frost Burst: shr1kn takes −5s cooldown and the Frost Burst reset on Frost, plus HP absorb and casting while moving on Frost Burst.
Which stigmas should a PvE Sorcerer run?
Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion, Fire Wall and Cold Storm, with one slot that changes by content:
| Setup | Stigmas | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion, Fire Wall, Cold Storm | EUTOPIA, shr1kn, FrozenCloud, aLuckyRO |
| Hard content | Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion, Fire Wall, Steel Barrier | EUTOPIA, for Transcendence and Nightmare runs |
| Stagger checks | Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion, Fire Wall, Divine Burst | EUTOPIA, when the group keeps failing them |
Divine Burst splits the creators. Its 50 Stagger damage is the highest in the kit, and shr1kn’s notes use it by hand to break a boss’s stagger bar, never during invulnerability or when the boss is already staggered. aLuckyRO calls it pointless in PvE. EUTOPIA has not needed it so far: he reports never failing a stagger check in 1,400 or 1,600 content, since Hellfire alone deals 20–35 Stagger damage.
Stigma levels. Everyone raises Element Enhancement first, and the client data shows why: at level 10 it multiplies Robe of Flame by 1.5, and at level 15 Grace of Enhancement. FrozenCloud takes it to 10 and then raises the other three to 5 one at a time; aLuckyRO pushes it to 15 before anything else. shr1kn’s early game build has it at 15 and the other three at 10, where Delayed Explosion’s cooldown drops by 10 seconds. aLuckyRO calls Fire Wall and Cold Storm at level 5 the minimum, because level 5 adds extra damage to each of their burns.
What is the best Sorcerer opener?
Buff and debuff first, then a fully charged Hellfire inside the Delayed Explosion window. Delayed Explosion makes the target take 15% more damage from you for 4 seconds, so the creators fit Hellfire into that window:
- EUTOPIA: Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion and Winter’s Shackles, then a fully charged Hellfire. After it, Fire Wall, Cold Storm, Bittercold Wind, Blaze, Firestorm, and Wish of Concentration last.
- FrozenCloud: Delayed Explosion, Fire Wall, Cold Storm, Element Enhancement and Wish of Concentration, then Hellfire, then the macro.
- shr1kn: Element Enhancement right before the burst, and a maximum-charge Hellfire immediately after Delayed Explosion. After that, Hellfire whenever it is ready.
- aLuckyRO: Wish of Concentration, Element Enhancement and Winter’s Shackles, then Hellfire, your stigmas, and Firestorm and Bittercold Wind, spamming Flame Arrow in between.
The one real difference is Wish of Concentration. Before level 16 it is an Attack and Combat Speed buff, so most creators open with it. Once its level 16 option cuts every remaining cooldown by 10 seconds, EUTOPIA and shr1kn cast it right after Hellfire and the other big skills, so the cut lands on them. EUTOPIA moves it to the end even before 16, to build the habit.
How do you set up the Sorcerer macro?
Put everything in the macro except Hellfire. Hellfire is a charge skill, and the macro releases it at the first charge level. EUTOPIA measured the difference in his tests: about 15,000–16,000 damage per second with a macro-cast Hellfire against about 22,000 with full charges. Every creator we checked casts it by hand.
| Creator | In the macro | Cast by hand |
|---|---|---|
| EUTOPIA | Element Enhancement, Delayed Explosion, Winter’s Shackles, Fire Wall, Cold Storm, Bittercold Wind, Firestorm, Flame Arrow | Hellfire; Wish of Concentration optional |
| shr1kn | Element Enhancement → Fire Wall → Cold Storm → Delayed Explosion; Winter’s Shackles → Bittercold Wind → Frost → Firestorm; Blaze → Frost Burst | Hellfire, Wish of Concentration, Flame Scattershot, Steel Barrier, Divine Burst |
| aLuckyRO | A buff chain led by Element Enhancement, a damage chain, and Flame Arrow at the end | Hellfire |
| berdugz | Winter’s Shackles chain, Blaze, Flame Arrow, Frost Burst | Hellfire |
shr1kn holds Flame Arrow on one mouse button and the macro on the other, so the two weave together without gaps. aLuckyRO binds the macro to left click for the same reason and gives two settings tips: a 10 ms delay between steps if your ping is under 50, 50 ms at 80 or more, and Element Enhancement entered three times so the macro never skips it. EUTOPIA still prefers a manual priority setup for the highest damage, because the macro cannot time Hellfire between the buffs.

How should a Sorcerer play stagger windows?
Two skills only matter around a boss’s stagger bar:
- Flame Scattershot works only on a staggered target. shr1kn spams it for the whole stagger window, and at level 16 each hit cuts all your cooldowns by 1 second. EUTOPIA often drops it and keeps casting his normal rotation.
- Divine Burst deals 50 Stagger damage to break the bar. shr1kn uses it by hand and never while the boss is invulnerable, changing phase or already staggered.
Hellfire itself deals 20–35 Stagger damage, so a Sorcerer that lands it on cooldown already contributes to every stagger check.
Which passives should a PvE Sorcerer level?
Robe of Flame, Grace of Enhancement and Fire Mark first. aLuckyRO ranks Robe of Flame first and Grace of Enhancement second, because Element Enhancement multiplies both by 1.5 at stigma levels 10 and 15. EUTOPIA names Fire Mark as the one to max; Blaze cannot be cast without it.
- Grace of Enhancement: +20% PvE Damage Boost while MP is at 25% or more.
- Robe of Flame: Accuracy, PvE Damage Boost and Double Chance.
- Fire Mark: marks every Fire hit; marked targets can take extra Fire damage.
- Vitality Evaporation: extra damage while the target is above 70% HP; aLuckyRO ranks it just behind the top three.
- Robe of Earth: Max MP, plus Critical Hit at 50% MP or more. EUTOPIA rates it highly; aLuckyRO puts it low early, because Sorcerers rarely crit at the start of the season.
shr1kn’s builds level a wider set: his leveling build has Fire Mark, Robe of Flame, Robe of Earth, Robe of Cold, Vitality Evaporation and the defensive Revitalization Contract at 14, but Grace of Enhancement at 1; his early game build takes Grace of Enhancement to 11. aLuckyRO treats Absorb Essence and Grace of Resistance as PvP passives.

How should a PvE Sorcerer spend Daevanion points?
Take the skill nodes for Hellfire, Firestorm, Wish of Concentration, Blaze and Bittercold Wind on every board, add Fire Mark and Robe of Flame on Nezekan, and collect the Combat Speed and Damage Boost corners on the way. shr1kn’s 268-point leveling board and 401-point early game board are drawn node by node in our Sorcerer Daevanion guide. For other classes’ builds, see the builds directory.
Where does this Sorcerer build come from?
We have not tested this build in-game ourselves. It is compiled from these sources and cross-checked against the skill data:
- Skill, specialization and stigma data: the game client data in questlog.gg’s skill builder (Global, checked 2026-10-11).
- shr1kn: his public Leveling (0–1,200 GS) and Early Game PvE (1,200–1,800 GS) skill builds, with their skill levels, specializations, macro chains and rotation notes (updated 2026-10-06 and 2026-10-07).

- Stigma usage shares: the stigmas on the skill bar in 339 of the 492 public Global Sorcerer skill builds on questlog.gg, counted on 2026-10-11.
Claims about damage, such as EUTOPIA’s Hellfire test, come from the creators’ own testing, not from the client data.
