FAQ

What is the best Spiritmaster build in AION 2 right now?
Enhance: Spirit’s Benediction, Summon: Ancient Spirit and Jointstrike: Corrode as stigmas, plus Flame Blessing or Jointstrike: Destructive Attack, with Combustion and Elemental Fusion as the skills you push highest. 87% of public Spiritmaster builds with four stigmas run one of those two sets, and so do init.rb’s and Grobs’s builds, the most-liked Spiritmaster builds on questlog.gg.
Should a Spiritmaster take Flame Blessing or Destructive Attack?
Both are standard. Of the 172 public builds with four stigmas, 83 add Flame Blessing to the core three and 66 add Destructive Attack. Flame Blessing is a 10-second buff that adds extra damage to your hits. Destructive Attack is a charge skill that always crits from level 15 and, at level 20, resets Jointstrike: Curse and Corrode. init.rb publishes one PvE build with each.
What is the best Spiritmaster build for leveling?
Grobs’s “Spiritmaster - Leveling”, the most-liked Spiritmaster skill build on questlog.gg (14 likes). It slots Spirit’s Benediction, the Ancient Spirit and Corrode at level 1 and puts Cold Shock, Combustion, the Fire Spirit and Elemental Fusion at 12. init.rb’s leveling builds for levels 20, 30, 40 and 45 show the same path one step at a time.
What skill levels does a level 45 Spiritmaster aim for?
Grobs’s “Spiritmaster - Level 45” build has Combustion, Elemental Fusion, the Fire Spirit and Rapid Scattershot at 16 and the other main skills at 12, with the Ancient Spirit and Flame Blessing at 15, Spirit’s Benediction at 10 and Corrode at 5. init.rb’s level 45 build keeps five skills at 14 and takes Destructive Attack to 10 first.
What is the best Spiritmaster build for PvP?
Spirit’s Benediction and the Ancient Spirit plus two PvP stigmas. init.rb’s PvP build lists Kaisinel’s Power, Seize Magic, Siphon and Command: Proxy alongside them: he calls Kaisinel’s Power the main stigma for Global, Seize Magic the debuff pick and Siphon the survival pick. Only 17 public Spiritmaster builds are named for PvP, and 7 of them, his own included, carry his six-stigma set.

What is the best Spiritmaster build in AION 2?

The best Spiritmaster build is the one almost every Spiritmaster runs: Enhance: Spirit’s Benediction, Summon: Ancient Spirit and Jointstrike: Corrode as stigmas, plus Flame Blessing or Jointstrike: Destructive Attack, with Combustion and Elemental Fusion as the skills you push highest. The two most-liked authors, init.rb and Grobs, agree on that core, so the real choices are the fourth stigma and how far along you are:

Part Best pick Why
Stigmas Spirit’s Benediction, Ancient Spirit, Corrode, plus Flame Blessing or Destructive Attack 87% of the 172 public builds with four stigmas run one of these two sets
First stigma to 15 Summon: Ancient Spirit It uses its skill after 5 basic attacks instead of 7, and each use grants Four Elements
Main damage Elemental Fusion and Combustion init.rb’s endgame builds take both to 20
Level 45 Combustion, Elemental Fusion, Fire Spirit and Rapid Scattershot at 16 Grobs’s level 45 build
Long-term target Combustion and Elemental Fusion at 20, every stigma at 20 init.rb’s Variant 1 and Variant 2
PvP Spirit’s Benediction and the Ancient Spirit, plus two of Kaisinel’s Power, Seize Magic, Siphon and Command: Proxy init.rb’s PvP builds

How do the top-rated Spiritmaster builds compare?

init.rb and Grobs hold the seven most-liked public Spiritmaster skill builds on questlog.gg (Global); the table shows their main ones. Likes were checked on 2026-10-13.

Build (author) Likes Stigmas on the bar Skill levels Built for
“Spiritmaster - Leveling” (Grobs) 14 Spirit’s Benediction, Ancient Spirit, Corrode, all 1 Cold Shock, Combustion, Fire Spirit, Elemental Fusion 12; the rest 8 Leveling
“Leveling 20 LVL” (init.rb) 13 None yet Cold Shock, Combustion, Fire Spirit 8 Character level 20
“SM PVE build Variant 1” (init.rb) 12 Spirit’s Benediction, Ancient Spirit, Corrode, Destructive Attack, all 20 Combustion, Elemental Fusion 20; Fire Spirit, Rapid Scattershot 16 A long-term target
“Spiritmaster - Level 45” (Grobs) 8 Ancient Spirit 15, Flame Blessing 15, Spirit’s Benediction 10, Corrode 5 Combustion, Elemental Fusion, Fire Spirit, Rapid Scattershot 16; the rest 12 Level 45
“SM PVE build Variant 2” (init.rb) 4 Spirit’s Benediction, Ancient Spirit, Corrode, Flame Blessing, all 20 As Variant 1 A long-term target
“LVL 45 when complete all quests, etc.” (init.rb) 3 Destructive Attack 10; Spirit’s Benediction, Ancient Spirit, Corrode 5 Cold Shock, Combustion, Fire Spirit, Jointstrike: Curse, Elemental Fusion 14 Level 45, after the quests
“SM PVP variant” (init.rb) 1 Six PvP stigmas, all 20 Combustion, Elemental Fusion 20; Cold Shock, Earth Spirit, Jointstrike: Curse, Dimensional Control 16 PvP

These builds are copied widely. 19 public builds carry the name “SM PVE build Variant 1”, 17 each “Spiritmaster - Leveling” and “Leveling 20 LVL”, 13 “Spiritmaster - Level 45” and 12 init.rb’s level 45 name. The two Variants are a useful pair: init.rb published them with the same skills, differing only in the fourth stigma.

The wider numbers show a settled core and one split. Of the 412 public Spiritmaster skill builds, 234 slot at least one stigma and 172 slot exactly four. Spirit’s Benediction and the Ancient Spirit are on 95% of those 234 skill bars and Corrode on 82%. Among the four-stigma builds, 83 (48%) add Flame Blessing to the core three and 66 (38%) add Destructive Attack; the next most common set, a PvP bar with Command: Proxy and Seize Magic, has only 5.

How do init.rb’s builds grow from level 20 to the endgame?

Combustion, Elemental Fusion and the Fire Spirit lead at every stage, and the stigmas arrive one slot at a time. init.rb publishes a build for each step of the way:

init.rb’s build Combustion Elemental Fusion Fire Spirit Cold Shock Jointstrike: Curse Dimensional Control Stigmas
Leveling 20 LVL 8 5 8 8 5 6 None
Leveling 30 LVL 12 9 11 10 9 8 Ancient Spirit 5, Spirit’s Benediction 4
Leveling 40 LVL 13 13 12 10 11 10 Ancient Spirit, Benediction, Corrode 5; Destructive Attack 4
Leveling 45 LVL 13 14 12 12 12 10 Ancient Spirit, Benediction, Corrode 5; Destructive Attack 7
LVL 45, all quests done 14 14 14 14 14 13 Destructive Attack 10; the other three 5
SM PVE build Variant 1 20 20 16 12 12 12 All four 20

Two stigmas by level 30 and four by level 40 fit the slot unlocks aLuckyRO lists: levels 22, 27, 32 and 37. Variant 1 is his full-gear target, last updated a week before the level 45 build, and it puts the extra levels into Combustion and Elemental Fusion rather than spreading them. His notes give the stigma order from level 45: Destructive Attack to 10, then the Ancient Spirit to 15, Benediction to 10 and Destructive Attack to 15, then the Ancient Spirit and Destructive Attack to 20, Benediction to 20, and Corrode last. The Spiritmaster PvE page explains why.

Grobs’s two builds draw the same line from leveling to level 45: Combustion, Elemental Fusion and the Fire Spirit from 12 to 16, and Rapid Scattershot, which works only on a staggered target, onto the bar at 16. His leveling build keeps Elemental Fusion’s level 12 charge option; his level 45 build drops it and runs Elemental Fusion in a macro with Corrode.

Flame Blessing or Destructive Attack: which fourth stigma?

Both are standard, and neither has taken over. Of the 172 public builds with four stigmas, 83 run Flame Blessing and 66 Destructive Attack. Among builds with all four stigmas at 20, the gap is wider: 50 to 28. The creators split the same way:

  • Flame Blessing: aLuckyRO, Grobs’s level 45 build, Tsuruf and init.rb’s Variant 2.
  • Destructive Attack: init.rb’s Variant 1 and his leveling and level 45 builds.

The two stigmas do different jobs. In the client data:

Level Flame Blessing Jointstrike: Destructive Attack
Base For 10s, a 50% chance of extra damage when your attacks land, once per second A single-target hit, joined by your spirit, with 50 Stagger damage
5 +100 Accuracy Becomes a charge skill: up to 200% more damage over 3 charge levels
10 +100 Critical Hit +30% Skill Speed
15 +10% Critical Damage Boost Always lands as a Critical Hit
20 The extra damage can trigger every 0.5s instead of every second Its first hit resets the cooldowns of Jointstrike: Curse and Jointstrike: Corrode

Flame Blessing is a buff: for 10 seconds it adds damage to everything you hit. aLuckyRO notes that it buffs only you, where Spirit’s Benediction buffs your spirits too. Destructive Attack is one more button to charge. A macro releases a charge skill at once, which is why aLuckyRO casts the charged Elemental Fusion by hand, and none of init.rb’s macros include Destructive Attack. Its payoff comes at 20, when each cast resets Curse and Corrode so you can use them again at once, and init.rb raises it before the other stigmas: to 10 first, then to 15 and 20 alongside the Ancient Spirit. OneTimeACraft would add it as a fifth stigma if more slots ever arrive.

What is the best Spiritmaster build for PvP?

Spirit’s Benediction and the Ancient Spirit, plus two PvP stigmas. PvP builds are rare for the class: only 17 public Spiritmaster builds with stigmas are named for PvP, and 7 of them, init.rb’s own included, carry the six stigmas of his “SM PVP variant”. Across all 17, Spirit’s Benediction is on 16, the Ancient Spirit on 14, Seize Magic on 13, Command: Proxy on 12, Siphon on 11 and Kaisinel’s Power on 9. Only 4 keep Corrode.

init.rb’s PvP build lists six stigmas at 20. On Global you equip four, and his notes treat the extra ones as a menu:

  • Kaisinel’s Power looks like the main stigma for Global, he writes, for its Status Effect Chance and Resist, plus a lot of Accuracy.
  • Seize Magic when you need a strong debuff. In that setup he swaps Command: Proxy for Magic Block.
  • Siphon when you need to survive.

His earlier PvP build, published for the Korean and Taiwanese version before Global launched, adds two habits. He runs mainly with the Earth Spirit, and brings out the Water and Fire Spirits in mass fights, where the Earth Spirit gets killed. He also keeps Spirit’s Benediction and Command: Proxy apart: Benediction first, then Proxy when the fight turns against you, hoping Siphon is off cooldown.

The PvP stigmas, from the client data:

Stigma Base effect What higher levels add
Kaisinel’s Power +20% Status Effect Chance and Resist for 10s +150 Block and Evasion at 5; +15% Resist at 10; +150 Accuracy at 15; +15% Chance at 20
Seize Magic Area hit that removes up to 2 buffs, with extra damage per buff removed Up to 3 buffs at 5; a 5s Seal when it removes 3 or more at 10; up to 5 buffs at 15; −30s cooldown at 20
Siphon Hit that deals 300 MP damage, absorbs 10% HP and restores 300 MP +20% Skill Speed at 5; 15% HP absorbed at 10; a shield worth 30% of Max HP for 30s at 15; a 3s Stun at 20
Command: Proxy For 4s, half the damage aimed at you goes to your spirit, which gains Damage Tolerance +2s at 5; more Damage Tolerance at 10; ×1.5 Spirit Protection at 15; your spirit restores 3% HP per second at 20
Spirit’s Benediction +10% PvP Damage Boost and Damage Tolerance for 10s (PvE: +20%) Rises to +22.5% PvP at 20

Corrode has a PvP use too: from level 15, the target receives 70% less healing while Corroded.

Which Spiritmaster build fits your situation?

Pick the build that matches where you are:

  • Leveling: Grobs’s “Spiritmaster - Leveling”, with the core three stigmas at 1 and Cold Shock, Combustion, the Fire Spirit and Elemental Fusion at 12. For a build per level band, follow init.rb’s 20, 30, 40 and 45 builds.
  • Just reached 45, Flame Blessing: Grobs’s “Spiritmaster - Level 45”, with four skills at 16 and the Ancient Spirit at 15.
  • Just reached 45, Destructive Attack: init.rb’s “LVL 45 when complete all quests, etc.”, with five skills at 14 and Destructive Attack at 10.
  • A long-term goal: init.rb’s Variant 1 (Destructive Attack) or Variant 2 (Flame Blessing), with Combustion and Elemental Fusion at 20.
  • You would rather not charge another skill by hand: Flame Blessing, as aLuckyRO, Grobs and Tsuruf run it.
  • PvP: init.rb’s “SM PVP variant”, choosing four of its six stigmas.

What gear and Daevanion go with the best build?

The long-term builds need Combustion and Elemental Fusion at 20, so gear matters as much as skill points. Skill points stop at 10, and four more levels come from the Spiritmaster Daevanion boards: Grobs’s 290-point board gives Combustion, Elemental Fusion and the Fire Spirit +4 each. The rest come from skill lines on rings and Arcana cards, which the Spiritmaster gear guide covers. Every Spiritmaster page is linked from the Spiritmaster builds hub, and the AION 2 classes overview compares the Spiritmaster with the other classes.
