What gear do Clerics wear in each slot?
Geared Clerics wear Nuakum armor: half of them in every armor slot. The weapon and jewelry slots split between the dungeon pieces from Enraged Kromede and crafted Splendent Wise Dragon Lord gear. The cards below show the three most common items per slot across 451 Global Cleric characters with gear data on questlog.gg, checked on 2026-10-10.

One caution on the Dragon Lord rows: an average enhancement of +20 means most of those entries are planned endgame sets, not gear players already wear. Several of the most-liked Cleric builds publish such a target set next to their current one. Nuakum armor and the Enraged Kromede pieces are item level 86, Vakron and Aulamus 70.
Which mace should a Cleric use?
Use a crafted Dragon Lord mace when you can, and the Enraged Kromede Warhammer until then. Every mace has the same 20m base reach, so the real differences are item level and the number of soul binding lines:
- Kromede Warhammer Item level 43Required level 37 · +2m range · 3 stat / 3 skill lines
- Spiritforged Mace Item level 45Required level 1 · no soul binding lines
- Fallen Ancient God Mace Item level 46Required level 40 · 4 stat / 4 skill lines
- Rupture Warhammer Item level 54Required level 45 · 4 stat / 4 skill lines
- True / Star Dragon Lord Mace Item level 62Required level 45 · 5 stat / 5 skill lines
- Aulamus Mace Item level 70Required level 45 · 4 stat / 4 skill lines
- Enraged Kromede Warhammer Item level 86Required level 45 · +2m range · 3 stat / 3 skill lines
- Abyssal Mace Item level 86Required level 45 · 4 stat / 4 skill lines
- Splendent Wise / Ebony Dragon Lord Mace Item level 102Required level 45 · 5 stat / 5 skill lines
- Ludra’s Fatal Mace Item level 102Required level 45 · +2m range · 3 stat / 3 skill lines
The game files warhammers under maces, so a Kromede warhammer fills the same slot. The Spiritforged Mace is the quest weapon and has no soul binding lines at all. The Kromede warhammers and Ludra’s Fatal Mace add 2m of range but roll only three lines of each kind, while every Dragon Lord mace rolls five. Crafted Dragon Lord gear is faction-specific: Elyos craft True, White and Wise pieces, Asmodians Star, Dark and Ebony pieces, with a Splendent version of each tier.
How do Clerics upgrade gear?
marx0310, whose Cleric character build is the third most-liked on questlog.gg (32 likes), publishes one set per gear score band. Together with the other top builds, it shows the usual path:
| Stage | Mace and guard | Armor | Jewelry | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Level 45 to 1,400 gear score | Spiritforged Mace and Guard +5 | Pilgrim +5 | Pilgrim and Drifter pieces | marx0310 |
| 1,400 to 1,900 | Spiritforged Mace and Guard +10 | Vakron | Aulamus | marx0310 |
| Early game / 2,100+ | Enraged Kromede Warhammer and Nuakum Guard +15 | Nuakum +10 to +15 | Enraged Kromede +10 to +15 | MrRosaPony, marx0310 |
| Endgame dungeons | Ludra’s Fatal Mace and Ludra’s Heart | Nuakum | Enraged Kromede, two Abyssal Bracelets | whelps |
| Crafted goal | Ebony Dragon Lord Mace +15 | Ebony Dragon Lord +10 | Ebony Dragon Lord +10, two Abyssal Bracelets | Th3Ruthless |
| Dream set | Splendent Wise Dragon Lord +20 | Splendent Wise Dragon Lord +20, or Nuakum +15 | Splendent Wise Dragon Lord +20 | marx0310, MrRosaPony |
MrRosaPony’s builds, the most-liked Cleric character build on questlog.gg (269 likes), keep Nuakum armor even in the mid-game set, at +15, while the mace, guard and jewelry move to Splendent Wise Dragon Lord +20. That matches Th3Ruthless’ crafting order: mace and guard first, then the jewelry, starting with the earrings, and the armor last. Jewelry adds a lot of Attack, he notes, and Attack is both your damage and your healing.
Two progression tips come from the creators’ notes and videos:
- Do not over-invest in early dungeon gear. Lucia skipped Crow Cave entirely, calling its gear bait that gets replaced anyway. MrRosaPony’s advice is to look for shortcuts that skip dungeons rather than clearing each one in full.
- Upgrade the Noble Belt and Revelation Amulet early. MrRosaPony upgrades both through Substance Morph on the way to level 45, so that he reaches 1,000 gear score and can claim the first yellow weapon straight away.

Which soul binding lines should a Cleric roll?
MrRosaPony’s early-game set fills in every line, so it is the clearest example of what a top Cleric rolls. Skill lines raise a skill’s level; stat lines add the stat shown.
| Slot | Stat lines (MrRosaPony) | Skill lines (MrRosaPony) |
|---|---|---|
| Mace and guard | Combat Speed, Weapon Damage Boost, Might (plus Precision on the guard) | — |
| Cloak and helm | Double Chance, Attack increase | Empyrean Lord’s Grace, Healing Enhancement |
| Pauldrons | Critical Damage Boost, Double Chance | Empyrean Lord’s Grace, Healing Enhancement |
| Breastplate | Damage Boost, Perfect Chance | Empyrean Lord’s Grace, Healing Enhancement |
| Greaves | Perfect Chance, Damage Tolerance | Empyrean Lord’s Grace, Healing Enhancement |
| Gloves | Combat Speed, Perfect Chance | Empyrean Lord’s Grace, Healing Enhancement |
| Boots | Move Speed, Perfect Chance | Empyrean Lord’s Grace, Healing Enhancement |
| Necklace | Combat Speed, Might, Precision | Empyrean Lord’s Grace |
| Earrings | Move Speed, Might, Precision | Empyrean Lord’s Grace |
| Rings | — | Condemnation, Judgment Thunder, Chain of Torment, Debilitating Mark |
| Bracelets (mid-game set) | Illusion, Time, Wisdom, Destruction | — |
The other top builds agree on the shape and vary the details:
- Rings: Condemnation is on every top build’s rings. Th3Ruthless adds Divine Aura and Bolt, whelps Divine Aura and Bolt, and marx0310 Radiant Recovery and Light of Regeneration.
- Armor passives: Th3Ruthless and marx0310 roll Earth’s Grace next to Empyrean Lord’s Grace instead of Healing Enhancement, which Th3Ruthless calls the two most important passives to chase on gear.
- Accuracy and Critical Hit: whelps rolls both on every armor piece of his endgame dungeon set and labels it “do not commit yet, especially accuracy”. Lucia’s target before the Ludra raid is at least 1,000 Accuracy and 1,000 Critical Hit.
For manastones, Th3Ruthless’ advice is to use simple ones early, because manastones do not carry over when you replace an item. His priorities are Weapon Damage Boost, Attack and front or back attack damage; once you have one or two gold lines on a piece, stop rerolling. MrRosaPony’s sets use Critical Damage Boost and Damage Boost manastones throughout.
Primal Vigor or Magic Armor: which Arcana set?
Most top Clerics split their cards: three Vigor and two Magic. That differs from the damage classes, which mostly run all Vigor. The two sets have these bonuses in the item data:
| Set | 2 cards | 4 cards |
|---|---|---|
| Primal Vigor (Vigor cards) | +60 PvE Attack while HP is 70% or more | +150 PvE Attack while HP is 70% or more |
| Magic Armor (Magic cards) | Restores 1,500 MP when MP drops to 20% or less (30s cooldown) | +1,000 PvE Defense while MP is 50% or more |
Three Vigor and two Magic cards give the two-card bonus of both sets: some Attack, plus an MP refill when you run low. The creators split like this:
- MrRosaPony and whelps: Chalice, Parchment and Mirror of Vigor, with Bell and Compass of Magic.
- marx0310: Chalice, Parchment and Compass of Vigor, with Bell and Mirror of Magic.
- BoredAF: four Vigor cards for the full Primal Vigor bonus, plus the Bell of Magic for its Destruction. He argues that a Cleric who does not weave Judgment Thunder into the rotation has no real MP problems.
- Th3Ruthless: all Vigor, and he tells Clerics not to let anyone talk them into Magic Armor.
Each card also gives one divine stat. Vigor and Magic versions differ: Chalice gives Time or Space, Parchment Life or Destiny, Compass Freedom or Death, Bell Justice or Destruction, and Mirror Illusion or Wisdom. The Cleric creators’ divine stat picks overlap heavily:
- MrRosaPony: Life, Wisdom, Illusion and Time.
- Lucia: Time, Illusion, Space and Destruction.
- Th3Ruthless: Destruction, Wisdom, Time and Justice, plus Freedom if you lack Accuracy, or Illusion for cooldown reduction.
BoredAF also wants as much Illusion as possible for its cooldown reduction.
Arcana cards also roll skill lines, and the Chalice and Parchment carry the damage skills in MrRosaPony’s set: Condemnation, Earth’s Retribution, Chain of Torment and Judgment Thunder or Radiant Recovery. MrRosaPony’s advice is to roll the active-skill cards first; together with rings, they are how Condemnation and the rest get from 16 to 20.
