FAQ

How do you get Abyss Points fast in AION 2?
Do the five daily duty missions and the weekly command quests (1,000 Abyss Points each, 2,000 in Middle Reshanta), hand in supply requests, and play the Arena of Tactics (1,000 a match, 3,000 a win). After an Artifact Siege, creators make about 18,000 to 24,000 in one Abyss Corridor run.
What should you buy with Abyss Points?
The creators we follow buy Stigma Shards first, 10,000 Abyss Points each for the first 50, then Potential Stone: Abyss for PvP stats on their best gear. Daevanion crystals for the Azphel board, wings and skins come later, and OmniPower advises against spending them on Life and Wind Brews.
Is there a limit on Abyss Points in AION 2?
Yes. MetaBot reads a weekly PvE limit, a weekly PvP limit and a season total limit in the Global client; past a weekly limit, gains drop to a reduced percentage. Quests and supply requests do not count. The limit values are set on the server, so no reliable figure is public.
How much do Stigma Shards cost in Abyss Points?
10,000, 15,000, 20,000 and 25,000 Abyss Points, with 50 per character at each price, so all 200 cost 3,500,000. The Nightmare shop (1,500 Phantasmal Fragments) and the Festival shop (300 Centuryroot Tokens) sell 35 more each.
Where is the Abyss Points shop?
It is the Trade Shop, which DonutExpansion opens from the Abyss menu once you reach level 45. MetaBot finds no merchant NPC tied to it in the Global client, and OmniPower notes that the Battlefield and the Arena open the same shop.

What are Abyss Points in AION 2?

The currency of the Abyss and PvP, spent in the Trade Shop. The item text calls them “a mark of honor won on the fields of a war without end.” They cannot be traded or sold. DonutExpansion opens the Trade Shop from the Abyss menu, which unlocks at level 45; OmniPower adds that the Battlefield and the Arena open the same shop, and MetaBot finds no merchant NPC tied to it in the Global client.

Abyss Points are not the same as Rank Points, which decide your Abyss rank; ranks are covered below.

How do you get Abyss Points?

From many small sources, most of them from level 45 on. These are the steady ones, with the amounts in the game data:

Source Abyss Points Notes
Duty missions 1,000 each Five a day from the Journal’s Duty tab, plus 50,000 bound Kinah each
Command quests 1,000 each, 2,000 in Middle Reshanta Scrolls from the Command Merchant, 12 a week at home and a separate set in the Abyss
Spacetime Rift quests 2,000 each 7 per faction, done in the enemy faction’s map; see our rift timer
Sealed dungeons 1,000 per clear Including those in the enemy faction’s map
Supply requests 300 to 114,640 Hand in gear or materials; examples below
Arena of Tactics (10 vs 10) 1,000 a match, 3,000 a win Plus 1 or 2 Silver Medals of Merit
Arena of Solitude and Cooperation 300 a match, 500 a win
Abyss monsters and enemy players Varies Counted against the weekly PvE and PvP limits
Artifact Siege and Abyss Corridor Varies Siege points go to winners by contribution; the Corridor that follows is a short farming run
Season 1 achievements Up to 40,000 each 41 achievements pay Abyss Points, mostly for Abyss and PvP goals
Merit Chests Always inside Morphed from the Proof of Hero medals that Abyss bosses drop

Events add more: the Yellow candy in our AION 2 Halloween event guide holds 10,000, and the Ludra check-in that starts on 4 November pays 30,000 as its fourth reward; the rest of that event is in our AION 2 Ludra raid guide.

What the creators prioritize. Ashura, in a guide about reaching 1.9 million Abyss Points (2026-10-23), puts command quests first, rerolled for useful extra rewards. Next come the Abyss bosses for their Proof of Hero medals, then supply requests, and then every Spacetime Rift, where Ashura says player kills pay double. For players who prefer PvE, Ashura ranks killing Abyss monsters as the best source, in spots or at hours with fewer enemy players around.

The Abyss Corridor opens after an Artifact Siege for the faction holding an Artifact, for 5 minutes in the client data, and each can be entered once per siege. Savvvo Games made about 18,000 Abyss Points in one run, and StingKnight puts it at 20,000 to 24,000. The Lower Reshanta siege runs on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 21:00 server time; the bosses that follow are in our AION 2 world boss timer.

StingKnight’s complete list (2026-10-16) also counts the Shugo Festival, the Dimensional Invasions and the weekly arena participation rewards, and recommends at least 10 matches a week in each of the 1v1 and 5v5 arenas:

Which supply requests pay the most Abyss Points?

The boss and crafted-gear deliveries. Supply requests take items and pay Abyss Points, often with Enhance Stones. StingKnight describes four tabs: Emergency resets daily and Weekly once a week, while Regular Craft and Regular Boss last longer, the whole season as far as StingKnight can tell. These examples come from the game data:

Tab Hand in Abyss Points
Emergency 3 Forgotten weapons 850, plus 220 Enhance Stones
Emergency 1 Artisan’s Orichalcum weapon 6,070, plus 1,560 Enhance Stones
Weekly 7 Forgotten weapons 1,680, plus 430 Enhance Stones
Weekly 1 Enraged Kromede weapon 45,580, plus 11,690 Enhance Stones
Regular Craft 1 Wise Dragon Lord weapon 114,640
Regular Boss 5 pieces from Melted Danar 9,620
Regular Boss 2 pieces from High Commander Lagta, Soul Ruler Kashapa or Silent Dartan 21,120
Regular Boss 2 pieces from Eternal or Immortal Gartua 67,450

The largest boss delivery, Guardian Lord Nahma’s, pays 102,940. Savvvo Games suggests keeping field-boss pieces like Gartua’s early on, but later trades them in for the Abyss Points rather than using them for soul fusion, which cheaper gold gear can do. StingKnight checks the market price of each item before buying it to hand in, and skips the gold-grade crafted deliveries.

Is there a limit on Abyss Points?

Yes: a weekly PvE limit, a weekly PvP limit and a season total, tracked on the HUD, according to MetaBot’s reading of the Global client. Past a weekly limit, gains drop to a reduced percentage. Points from quests and supply requests do not count toward the limits, and PvE points from the Abyss Corridor do not count toward the PvE one. The limit values are set on the server, not in the client, so no reliable figure is public.

Ashura adds that the season limit rises every week, so an active player can catch up, and that the boss deliveries in supply requests have a weekly limit of their own.

Abyss time is limited too. Each Reshanta layer gives 7 hours a week, 14 with a subscription, and the timer only runs while you are inside. It resets on Wednesday; our AION 2 reset time page shows when in your time zone. A Lower Abyss Rift Stone adds 1 hour of Lower Reshanta time.

Warrior Wings 200,000 1 per character
Brawler Wings 800,000 1 per character

All 200 Stigma Shards cost 3,500,000 Abyss Points, and all 110 Azphel crystals 4,400,000.

What should you buy first with Abyss Points?

Stigma Shards first, then Potential Stones; skins and wings last. The creators we follow order it like this:

  • OmniPower (2026-10-19) starts with the Growth tab and has bought only Stigma Shards so far. The Lesser Abyssal stones matter once you push late-game gear; the Life and Wind Brews are not worth it; and instead of paying 35,000 for the Theostone chest, wait for Theostones from the Blackcloud merchant, who sells them for Kinah.
  • Ashura (2026-10-23) has bought out the Stigma Shards and now buys Potential Stone: Abyss to add PvP Damage Boost to their best gear slot, and is saving Silver Medals for the Centurion skins.
  • Aragon (2026-10-06) calls the two weekly Potential Stones more important than the Lesser Abyssal Manastones and Soulstones, which you may already have plenty of early on.
  • Savvvo Games (2026-10-17) spends on Stigma Shards, Daevanion crystals, wings and skins. Sen, in our Gladiator PvP build, buys Azphel points with Abyss Points.

What each buy does, in the game data:

  • Stigma Shard: 1 Stigma Shard point each, toward your stigma levels; what each level unlocks is in our AION 2 stigma guide. Besides the 200 in the Trade Shop, the Nightmare shop and the Festival shop sell 35 each.
  • Daevanion Crystal: Azphel: 1 point for the Azphel PvP board, which takes 232 to fill; how it compares with Ariel is in our Ariel Daevanion guide, and the Daevanion calculator plans it.
  • Potential Stone: Abyss: unlocks the potential of soul-bound gear. MetaBot reads that each of the four potential steps on a Unique item costs 100,000 Abyss Points and 1 to 4 stones, so +4 on one item takes 400,000 and 10 stones; on a weapon that adds 2.0% PvP Damage Boost.
  • Wings: Brawler Wings give +3% Status Effect Chance and Resist, 500 HP and 400 Defense Bonus while equipped, and at +10 their collection bonus adds 1% PvP Damage Boost. The Warrior Wings’ collection bonus at +10 adds 1% PvP Damage Tolerance.

How do Abyss ranks work?

By Rank Points, not Abyss Points, against players of your own class. Season 1 runs from 30 September to 16 December 2026; ranks update every hour, and Rank Points can be lost. The tiers in the Global client:

Tier Class rank Minimum Rank Points Tier buff
Supreme Commander 1 20,000,000 5.0%
Commander 2 13,000,000 4.6%
Marshal 3–4 9,000,000 4.4%
General 5–6 6,000,000 4.2%
5-Star to 1-Star Officer 7–150 4,200,000 to 1,500,000 4.0% to 3.2%
First- to Third-Class Soldier 151–300 1,000,000 to 550,000 3.0% to 2.6%
Fourth- to Sixth-Class Soldier 301–600 350,000 to 75,000 2.4% to 2.0%
Seventh- to Ninth-Class Soldier 601–1,000 35,000 to 3,000 1.8% to 1.2%
Trainee Everyone else None None

The tier buff adds its percentage as PvP Damage Boost, PvP Damage Tolerance and PvE Abyss Damage Boost, and only the highest of your Abyss and Arena tier buffs applies. Each tier also pays a season title when Season 1 ends. Several Season 1 achievements pay Abyss Points for killing enemy officers, generals and commanders.
