FAQ
Does the Daevanion calculator save my board?
Only in the link. Your class, selection and budget are written into the page address, so copying the share link saves and shares the plan. Nothing is stored on a server and there is no account.
Does the calculator check that nodes are connected?
No. In the game a node only becomes available once it connects back to the start of its board. The calculator adds up costs and does not check the path, so make sure your route reaches every node you pick.
Which classes does the calculator cover?
All eight Global classes. In the game data every class has the same six boards with the same node positions and costs; only the skill nodes differ. Pick your class above the boards and the node names and the high-priority list change to match.
What is the Ariel Daevanion board?
A sixth board added in the Global patch of 21 October (20 October in PDT). In the game data it unlocks at level 45 and, like Azphel, has 153 nodes that cost 232 points in its own point type, but its nodes are PvE and boss stats instead of PvP stats. The patch notes say Ariel points come from Ariel Fragments earned in Expedition (Hard).
How does the AION 2 Daevanion calculator work?
Pick your class and a board, then click a node to add it and click it again to remove it. The counters show the points each board uses and how many of your points are left. The budget boxes start at the full cost of the boards; change them to the points you actually have, and the calculator tells you when a plan does not fit.
The calculator needs JavaScript. Filling every node costs 570 Daevanion points on the first four boards, 232 Ariel points on Ariel and 232 Azphel points on Azphel.

What this board plan means
High-priority nodes follow our Gladiator Daevanion guide (Ulfhednar’s and Grobs’ PvE order): a recommendation, not a rule of the game.
Switching class keeps the nodes you have picked. In the game data every Global class has the same six boards, with the same node positions and costs, so only the skill node names and the high-priority list change.
How many Daevanion points does a character actually get?
The six boards cost 1,034 points to fill, in three separate point types, but that is not the same as how many points a character gets, and we have not checked the second number in game yet.
What we checked in the game data: in the client data published in questlog.gg’s Daevanion planner (read on 2026-10-22), Nezekan, Zikel and Vaizel cost 134 points each to fill and Triniel 168, 570 points in all, paid in Daevanion points. Ariel and Azphel cost 232 points each, and each has a point type of its own (the data names the three “daevanion_crystal”, “conquest_crystal” and “battle_crystal”), so spending on one board type never takes points from another. Those totals are the same for all eight Global classes. Before Ariel was added, MetaBot’s planner, read from the Global client (build 0.0.4387.0), gave the same 802 for the other five boards.

What these totals are not: they are what every node costs, not a character’s allowance. Daevanion points come from crystals you consume, one point each, and from leveling. AllThingsHow lists 4 points per level from level 12, sealed dungeons, regional quests and two shops with purchase limits. Some of those sources repeat, so a character’s total keeps growing rather than stopping at one fixed number.
Ariel points are new. The 21 October patch notes say they come from Ariel Fragments, a reward in the new Hard mode of the Krao Cave and Draupnir expeditions (item level 2,600), and that Substance Morph turns 100 fragments into a Daevanion Crystal: Ariel, up to 30 times per character, with a separate limit for each dungeon. AllThingsHow says each crystal adds one Ariel point. What every Ariel node gives, and the cheapest routes to its big nodes, are in our Ariel Daevanion board guide.
Where the sources disagree: before Ariel, some budgets for the boards were given as 802 (570 + 232, the figure that matches the game data above) and some as 840. We could not find a published explanation of what 840 counts. It could be a count of points a character earns rather than points the boards cost, or a different set of sources; the two figures may simply measure different things, and we are not calling either one wrong.
In-game check: not done yet. When we have it, this section will show the points a character holds in the Daevanion window, with a screenshot and its date, and the change will be noted in the update history.
Until then, the calculator starts from what the boards cost: 570 Daevanion, 232 Ariel and 232 Azphel points. Set the budget boxes to what your own Daevanion window shows.
How much does each Daevanion node cost?
1 to 4 points, by tier, and the start node is free. These costs come from the same game data:

Every node except the start lists a reset cost of 500 in the planner data, so trying a different route is cheap. In the game you can only take a node once it connects back to the start of its board; the calculator does not check that path.
Which nodes does the calculator mark as high priority?
For each class, the skill and passive nodes its Daevanion guide puts first, and the 4-point damage nodes that guide recommends. Pick a class and the summary under the calculator lists the ones you have not taken yet:
Each guide credits the creators behind its order, and each is advice for PvE damage, not a rule of the game. The 4-point nodes listed are the ones a guide names; where its creators disagree about a corner, it is left out. None of the high-priority nodes are on Ariel or Azphel: the guides plan PvE damage on the four skill boards, and Ariel is newer than all of them. The calculator itself does not use the creators’ point totals: it only adds up the nodes you pick.
Where does this Daevanion data come from?
questlog.gg: the game client data behind its Daevanion planner, read on 2026-10-22: every board for the eight Global classes, including Ariel, with each node, node cost, unlock level, point type and reset cost.
MetaBot.GG:AION 2 Daevanion Planner: Gladiator, read from the Global client (build 0.0.4387.0) before Ariel: 802 points to complete the other five boards.
High-priority nodes: our eight class Daevanion guides, linked in the table above.
Update history
