FAQ

When does the AION 2 Halloween event end?
Before the scheduled maintenance on 3 November 2026 (PST) / 4 November 2026 (CET). Halloween Candy, Halloween Cookies, Candy Key Fragments and Candy Keys are deleted at 11:00 PM PST on 3 November / 8:00 AM CET on 4 November; the other event items stay until 15 December (PST) / 16 December (CET).
How do you get Halloween Pumpkin Coins?
From the event attendance, 620 coins over 14 log-in days, and from ten weekly event missions under Season Mission > Event, worth 235 coins a week per server, such as clearing an Expedition on Conquest or a Transcendence dungeon once.
How do you get Halloween Candy Keys in AION 2?
Collect 60 Candy Key Fragments and morph them into a Red, Yellow or Blue Candy Key under Substance Morph > Event; each key can be made once per week per server. In the game data every Conquest, Hard or Transcendence reward cube gives 3 fragments, so a key takes about 20 cubes.
Which Halloween candy should you open?
It depends on what you need: Red gives 20 Growth Pet Chests and 10 Battle Enhance Scrolls, Yellow 10,000 Abyss Points and 10 Life Crystals, and Blue 4 Odyle Energy and 10 Resurrection Spiritstones, each with 5 Halloween Candy and 5 Halloween Cookies. StingKnight and Savvvo Games both recommend Blue, for the Odyle Energy.
How do you get the Halloween skin in AION 2?
Buy the Special Halloween Chest for 250 Pumpkin Coins (once per server). It contains the Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals. The shop also sells Skin Chests (10 times) for 15 coins, up to 5 a week.

When does the AION 2 Halloween event end?

Before the maintenance on 3 November (PST) / 4 November (CET). The official notice dates the Trick or Treat event from the maintenance of 13 October (PDT) / 14 October (CEST). Some rewards disappear on a schedule, so spend them in time:

Items Deleted at
Halloween Candy, Halloween Cookie, Candy Key Fragments, Red / Yellow / Blue Candy Keys 3 November, 11:00 PM PST / 4 November, 8:00 AM CET
Special Halloween Chest, Odyle Energy (Bound), Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound), Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon, Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket, Shugo Festival Reward Key 15 December, 11:00 PM PST / 16 December, 8:00 AM CET

The same maintenance brings back the Ludra raid; see our AION 2 Ludra raid guide. All event items are non-tradable. The missions and the weekly shop limits reset once a week; AION 2’s weekly reset is on Wednesday, shown in your time zone on our AION 2 reset time page.

How do you get Halloween Pumpkin Coins?

Log in for the attendance rewards and clear the ten weekly event missions. The attendance, in the in-game menu under Attendance, pays 35 coins a day and 100 on days 7 and 14, 620 coins over 14 days, once per server; it resets daily at 12:00 AM PDT / 9:00 AM CEST.

The missions sit under Season Mission > Event and reset once per week per server:

Mission Coins
Hunt 10 monsters in the Abyss 25
Clear a Transcendence dungeon once 25
Clear an Expedition on Conquest once 25
Clear the Ascension Trial once 25
Clear Nightmare once (any stage) 25
Log in 3 times 30
Obtain 1 piece of Unique gear 20
Use 5 scrolls 20
Take part in a Dimensional Invasion once 20
Take part in the Shugo Festival once 20

That is 235 coins a week. The event spans three weekly resets, so a player who logs in every day and clears every mission each week can earn about 1,325 coins in all. The Conquest and Transcendence dungeons you clear for those missions also drop Candy Key Fragments (below); which expedition fits your item level is on our AION 2 expeditions page.

What does the Halloween shop sell?

Odyle Energy, Rift Stones, skin chests, tickets and a one-off skin chest. A Coin Merchant appears in each town: for Elyos in Verteron, at Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village; for Asmodians in Altgard, at Safe Haven and Nornir Assembly.

Item Coins Limit Level
Special Halloween Chest 250 1 per server 10
Odyle Energy (Bound) 10 4 per server a week 45
Lower Abyss Rift Stone (Bound) 30 2 per server a week 45
Skin Chest (10 times) (Bound) 15 5 per server a week 10
Resurrection Spiritstone (Bound) 2 10 per server a week 10
Instant Clear Ticket: Daily Dungeon (Bound) 3 7 per server a week 10
Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Ticket (Bound) 7 3 per server a week 10
Shugo Festival Reward Key (Bound) 7 3 per server a week 10
Life Crystal (Bound) 2 20 per character 10
Halloween Candy (Bound) 2 10 per character 10
Halloween Cookie (Bound) 2 10 per character 10
Superior Power Shard (Bound) 1 None 10

Buying every weekly-limited item once costs 258 coins a week, plus 80 per character for the Life Crystals, Candy and Cookies, and 250 once for the Special Halloween Chest. The chest holds the Spooky Scary Skeleton breastplate skin and 10,000 Pet Soul Crystals; how pet souls work is in our AION 2 pets guide.

What should you buy first in the Halloween shop?

Odyle Energy, then the Nightmare and Shugo Festival tickets. That is StingKnight’s order in his Halloween event guide (2026-10-14): max out the weekly Odyle Energy first, then the Nightmare Dungeon Challenge Tickets and the Shugo Festival Reward Keys, and consider the Special Halloween Chest if you can spare 250 coins. Most items are limited per server, so he suggests buying each weekly limit in full and spending what is left on Superior Power Shards.

Savvvo Games, in a Halloween rewards video (2026-10-16), agrees on the order after one change: if you like skins, buy the Special Halloween Chest first; if not, skip it and go straight to the Odyle Energy. Next come the Nightmare tickets, whose currency he spends on stigma shards and Daevanion crystals, and the Shugo Festival keys, for their chance at rare items. He adds the Lower Abyss Rift Stones only if you play your full Abyss time each week, and leaves the Halloween Candy, Power Shards and Life Crystals for last. His other tip: keep some coins back, because the weekly limits refill and you will want the Odyle Energy again next week.

For scale: a full week of Odyle Energy costs 40 coins and the two Rift Stones 60, while the 10 Resurrection Spiritstones and 7 Instant Clear Tickets cost 20 and 21.

The Halloween costumes are a separate shop. Besides the event chest’s breastplate skin, StingKnight points to three paid skin sets in the in-game shop, Midnight Slasher, Midnight Witch and Monarch of Blood, which he finds expensive.

How do Halloween Candy Keys work?

Turn 60 Candy Key Fragments into a key, then open the matching candy in town. The notice places the event candies around the towns; StingKnight, in a Halloween candy key video (2026-10-14), shows you hand the key in at the candy NPCs. Each key is made under Substance Morph > Event and can be crafted once per week per server, so you can open all three candies once a week:

Candy Contents
Red 20 Growth Pet Chests, 10 Battle Enhance Scrolls, 5 Halloween Candy, 5 Halloween Cookies
Yellow 10,000 Abyss Points, 10 Life Crystals, 5 Halloween Candy, 5 Halloween Cookies
Blue 4 Odyle Energy, 10 Resurrection Spiritstones, 5 Halloween Candy, 5 Halloween Cookies

Where the fragments come from: the notice names Expedition and Transcendence dungeons. In questlog.gg’s game data, every reward cube from an Expedition on Conquest or Hard, or from the Transcendence dungeons Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis, holds 3 Candy Key Fragments; Exploration cubes hold none. So a key costs about 20 reward cubes, and the fragments are cube rewards, so you have to open the cube to get them. StingKnight reports about 30 fragments from a day of spending hundreds of Odyle Energy. Spare fragments morph into 10 Superior Power Shards each, without a limit.

Both creators pick the Blue candy first, for the Odyle Energy. Savvvo ranks Yellow second, since he spends 10,000 Abyss Points on a stigma shard or Daevanion crystal, and Red last unless you are levelling pets. Prices for both are in our AION 2 Abyss Points guide.

What do Halloween Candy and Cookies do?

Five-minute food buffs. Both add 300 Max Stamina and 40% Natural Stamina Regen; the Candy adds 25 Attack and 250 Defense, the Cookie 500 Max HP and 250 Max MP. They come from the shop and from every candy, and they are deleted when the event ends, so use them first. Extra stamina helps in fights with lots of dodging, such as the Hard expedition bosses in our Krao Cave and Draupnir Hard mode guide.
